Weekly Roundup: This Week’s Favorites

Hey, there! It’s time for another weekly roundup! Here are five of my favorite reads I stumbled across this past week (in no particular order):

1) Instead, I Held You

This short article is precious. Those sweet, quiet moments with our babies are fleeting, because they grow oh-so fast and begin to get busy and explore new things, and eventually outgrow our laps. Even when we have a million and one things to do, sometimes we just need to stop the world and hold our sleeping babe.

2) Stop Being a Butthole Wife

I really am not a fan of the title, but man, this is such a heart-pricker of a read. If you lost your husband tomorrow, would you be okay with the way you treated him or the kind of attitude you had today?

3) I Kissed Dating Hello: Why Christian Girls Are Done with Courtship Culture

THIS. Y’all, this is a great one for anyone who’s got the “either you’re courting or you’re sinning” attitude, or had that mindset at one time. It’s not about whether you court or date, or what you call it– it’s a heart matter, completely and absolutely.

4) Chip’s New Year’s Revelation

I’m a huge fan of the show, Fixer Upper, and I am proud of Chip and Joanna Gaines for their Christian character and love for mankind. This New Year resolution revelation written by Chip is a great reminder for us all to simply love people, whether or not we agree or disagree.

5) Mommy Daughter Activities to Do with 0-2 Year-Olds

This is a list of 11 fun things to do with your little girl(s)! Having a daughter is so much fun, and I just love doing little activities like this with her everyday. Click the link above if you want some really girly play-time ideas.

That’s all, folks! I hope you have a great rest of the day!
