DIY Vapor Rub Shower Disks

Good morning!

I hope not, but if you are feeling congested lately or you’re like me and usually get all stuffy during the Winter, you may want to save this recipe to use when you need to clear up your breathing passages. Here is a three-ingredient recipe for vapor rub disks you can put in the to evaporate in the steamy shower while you bathe.

  • Water
  • Vapor rub
  • Baking soda
  • Cupcake liners

Microwave water in mug until hot or heat in kettle over stove; add 1 tablespoon vapor rub and let melt. Once melted, pour into bowl and add baking soda until pasty. Spoon mix into cupcake liners and let cool for 12-18 hours. Store in an air-tight container. When you need to clear your sinuses up, put one of these disks in the shower and let it evaporate with the steam, helping to clear you right up and feeling better!

Have a blessed day!
