Tasty Tuesday: Blueberry Congealed Salad

My aunt used to make this a lot for our family get-togethers at my grandparents’ house. I haven’t had it in a long time, so I’m thinking it’s time to make this yumminess.

It’s real simple! Here’s how you do it:

Filling:
2 packages grape Jell-O
1 can blueberry pie filling
1 large crushed pineapple, with juice
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Topping:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water. Add blueberry pie filling, crushed pineapple with juice, and chopped pecans. Stir well and let congeal. Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream and vanilla; beat well. Spread onto Jell-O.
