[Briscoe Darling observes Aunt Bee]
Briscoe: That’s the cleanest cookin’ woman as I ever did see.
Andy: Aunt Bee believes cleanliness is next to godliness.
Briscoe: That’s a combination hard to come by. Neat and reverent.
If you’re not a fan of anything pumpkin flavored, I apologize and suggest you sit back amd rethink your life.
So, with that said, here is a quick, so-simple-anyone-can-do-it-even-me recipe for pumpkin spice latte. It’s quite delicious, and so you may want to consider doubling the recipe!
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon/nutmeg/ginger or just cinnamon)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup brewed coffee
In 2-quart saucepan, heat milk, pumpkin, and sugar over medium heat until hot (but do not boil). Remove from heat. Stir in pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, and coffee.
Pour into large mugs. Garnish each with whipped cream, dash pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick, or just drink it plain, ’cause it’s just plain good either way!
Now sit back with your yummy concoction and a good book and enjoy!
Have a blessed day!
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)
