Tasty Tuesday: Camp Cobbler

This chocolate cobbler is such an easy recipe, and if you’ve ever been to GEMS Camp, you’ve either made or eaten it, so know just how yummy it is.

Here’s what you’ll need for the filling:
2 sticks butter (melted in baking dish)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 t. vanilla

Mix and pour over melted butter.

For the top, you’ll need:
2 T. cocoa
1 c. sugar

Mix and sprinkle over mixture in dish. Do NOT stir.

Now pour 1 3/4 c. water over all. Do NOT stir. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.

Note: Best if enjoyed with a tall glass of milk.
