Tasty Tuesday: Banana-Cocoa-Thieves Smoothie

These are a few of my favorite things: bananas, chocolate, and ‘Thieves’ essential oil by Young Living. So the other day I thought, “Hey, why not combine these things into a smoothie and eat it?!”

I mean, seriously. Why not?

So I experimented and came up with this yummy baby.

I don’t measure exactly, but here are my “guess-timations”:

1/4 cup half and half, cream, or evaporated milk
1/2 banana
10 ice cubes (more or less, depending on the consistency you want)
3 teaspoons honey or sugar
1 teaspoon cocoa
1 D-R-O-P Thieves oil*

Blend well. Prepare your taste buds for wonderfulness. Enjoy.

*If you do not enjoy a strong cinnamon taste, you may not like this particular oil very well, but I do suggest at least trying it before you say you won’t like it. By the way, Thieves oil is wonderful for getting rid of and warding off viruses and colds, so now is the perfect time to start getting it into your body before the flu season comes back around. Note: This is great anytime of the day, but definitely best in the morning, to help get your day off to a good, energetic start!
