Tasty Tuesday: Peanut Butter Crisscrosses

Good morning! I hope your Tuesday is going smoothly. Today’s recipe is another one of my favorites, and they’re so very easy (maybe a little too easy) to make!

PEANUT BUTTER CRISSCROSSES

 

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • Dash of salt

Mix together butter, peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. In separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Now form dough into balls about 1″ in diameter and place onto non-greased cookie sheet. Flatten balls with a fork and bake at 350° for ten minutes. (Even if they still seem a little bit dough-ey, take them out, because they will bake just a little more out of the oven while they’re on the pan, and you don’t want these to be crispy.)

Voila! There you have it!

NOTE: Best served with a cup of coffee and a good book.
